Scenery that tells a story. Having universally attractive land or comfortable space isn’t quite enough. To bring them to life, ASPLUND believes that great furnishings need to inhabit those spaces. Over years and years of singleminded attention to great furniture making, we have pursued a level of craftsmanship attainable only by the most seasoned veterans, starting with the craftsmen　of Cebu Island in the Philippines. From the strictest selection of materials to precision cutting, meticulous weaving and painstaking fitting, the handiwork displayed by these craftsmen breathes life into their creations.

「よりよい家具を作るためには、よりよいクラフトマンシップを追求しなければならない」。私たちASPLUNDはこの想いを中心に据えて、海外の有名ブランドを取り扱うだけでなく日本のファニチャーブランドとして優れたオリジナルプロダクトを作り続けてきました。
これまで、ともにクラフトマンシップを追求してきたのは、創業以来の生産拠点、フィリピン・セブ島をはじめとする各国の職人たち。長い時間をかけて彼らが培ってきた熟練の技術と天然の素材が組み合わせられることではじめて、ハンドメイドならではの特別な存在感が家具にもたらされます。それはたとえば、一本一本丹念に仕上げられた編み込みの美しさ。あるいは、精巧なカットが施された石細工の繊細さ。機械加工では決して味わうことのできない風合いが、職人の手によって実現していきます。
